1. Let's Rock Chats With Tobias Forge of Ghost On Friday, October 18, 2019, Ottawa was fortunate enough to witness their first Ghost concert. It was a slick, well produced, wonderfully sounding (Kudos to the sound tech) extravaganza. The Nameless Ghouls, all 7 of them, were in fine form and Cardinal Copia had the small but loud crowd in the palm of his hand from the incredible opening song, Rats to the powerful closer, Square Hammer. I was lucky enough to meet Tobias Forge (Cardinal Copia) in the band's warm-up room in the bowels of the 10/24/2019
2. Let's Rock Chats With Brandon Yeagley of Crobot Here we go again. Another relatively new band. Another mind blowing album. God, I love this job. Brandon Yeagley is the lead singer of Pennsylvania-based Crobot, who have recently released a smashing new album called Motherbrain. Brandon was kind enough to give Let's Rock HQ a call to discuss the origin of the band and name, touring with legends, Steel Panther and even a nice little chat about Judas Priest for some reason. 3. Let's Rock Chats With Janet Feder Janet Feder is a Colorado-based guitarist and composer. Classically trained, her music is a unique blend of music ranging from folk to avante-garde. She plays a 'prepared guitar' on which tools or devices are fastened to the strings to add various colours to the sound. As she describes the process, "I put things on strings". Her music is best described as hypnotic and the sounds will absorb you and draw you in. She came to the attention of Let's Rock through Bryan Beller (check out his Let's 10/06/2019

Bryan Beller - Scenes From The Flood - A Review By Paul Eastwood I had the pleasure of seeing the Aristocrats in concert a few weeks ago and jumped at the chance to review Bryan Beller's double CD Scenes From the Flood. This is an enormous project with twenty-eight musicians on eighteen tracks which are primarily instrumental. Upon my initial run-through, I was struck by the flow of the album. The variation of textures, an almost episodic transition from track to track, is achieved through different instruments and the character of the 08/23/2019
5. Sons Of Apollo - Live with The Plovdiv Psychotic Symphony - A Review By Paul Eastwood In September of 2017 an astonishing prog supergroup released their debut cd, Psychotic Symphony. The band toured through South and North America (I was fortunate to have seen the stop in Montreal) and Europe. Fast forward to August, 2019 and the imminent arrival of the Sons Of Apollo with the Plovdiv Psychotic Symphony. This is a special occasion, with SOA joined onstage by an orchestra and choir. Plovdiv is an ancient city in Southern Bulgaria, and the venue is the Roman-era 08/19/2019
6. Let's Rock Chats With Bryan Beller Bryan Beller, as you probably know, is the bass player in The Aristocrats. What you may not know is that he is about to release a masterpiece of a double album called Scenes From The Flood. This labor of love features guests including Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Guthrie Govan, Mike Keneally and many more...26 guests to be exact. 7. John 5 - Invasion - A Review Ever since seeing John 5 and The Creatures in Ottawa a few months ago, I have been looking forward to his newest release, Invasion. John's 11th studio album comes on the heels of a lengthy North American tour and drops in the midst of his tour with Rob Zombie. If this is your first time visiting Let's Rock, I do album reviews a little differently than other sites. 9. Kim Mitchell & David Wilcox at Kemptville Live Music Fest There's nothing like seeing a couple Canadian legends on a beautiful summer evening. The Kemptville Live Music Festival served up the perfect dose of Canadiana on the opening night of the festival. Classic rock staples David Wilcox and Kim Mitchell absolutely tore it up on Thursday evening in a show that had everyone singing along, reminiscing, and just flat out enjoying themselves. 10. The Aristocrats' Bryan Beller You Know What? The Aristocrats—guitarist Guthrie Govan, bassist Bryan Beller and drummer Marco Minnemann have a brand spankin' new album dropping on June 28th. Titled You Know What?, this is the fourth release from the rock-fusion trio. The band will be hitting Canada for 5 dates (Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City) in late July.
